Infancy
The first year after birth is called infancy. Infancy is a period when the baby grows very fast. During infancy, the baby doubles in length and triples in weight. Other important changes also happen during infancy: The baby’s teeth start to come in, usually at about six months of age. This a stage where weaning diet comes in means we have to start external nutrition than just mother’s milk. It a very important stage where the taste buds and food choices would be decided for future form onwards.
Childhood
Toddler and children both require essential nutritional diet so as to support their overall development. One third of human growth is during this phase. Malnutrition may be under or over both are hazardous as food habbits of kids would lead to either healthy or inappropriate health.
Puberty
Puberty is the process of physical changes through which a child’s body matures into an adult body capable of sexual reproduction. It is initiated by hormonal signals from the brain to the gonads: the ovaries in a girl, the testes in a boy. A balance diet is a must to achive a healthy puberty.
